"Great stay near the airport "

"We chose to stay in the treehouse and had an excellent time. It’s very rustic! The pools and hot tubs are quite worn down and we chose not to use them, but we wanted a treehouse experience and boy did we get it for a very reasonable cost. There is a security guard which makes it feel safer. There is a restaurant on site which made it easy. Food was just ok for us. Still giving a great rating because we had such a fun experience. Beds are like rocks and pillows are huge and sucked but for one night, it was perfect for the authentic experience of a treehouse. They don’t speak English so be prepared to translate. "

"There were very nice and courteous people. I would suggest that they should keep the place better, clean the areas from debris, making repairs from areas were the people are walking and watching the nature. There is an area around the river where there are a lot garbage and old objects that could be thrown away and the area would be cleaned and looked better. "

"Only 30 min from the airport, up in the coffee covered hills above the very vibrant Alajuela neighborhood, is the best, not too expensive hotel in San Jose. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and gardens, nice food and a very relaxing setting. We really enjoy spending our last night, after puddle jumping and before getting on that big old jet liner, just decompressing in affordable luxury. Go there, you'll be glad you did."
