“This place is well located!! Its on a quiet street with a 7 min walk to the beach. A staff member (lady) greeted us and was kind and helpful with information regarding the area and restaurants. “Walked up from the train station. Beautiful location. Initially confused as to where lobby/ check-in is located because of so many Pousada Vila Obidos signs, but once we located the proper entrance, our experience could not have been better. Pedro is an excellent employee, giving us suggestions, answering questions, seeing us walking along the street and ensuring we were doing well later in the day. Walking along the top of the wall is so fun and you must try a ginja!”

“Just returned from 8 days at the hotel with my wife and two older teenagers. The hotel was excellent all round. The location was picture postcard stuff, the rooms spacious, comfortable and quiet. It was a great location to explore the area with Obidos being our highlight for evening dinner options. “Hotel was modern and clean, bed very comfortable and on a quiet road so sleeps were great, walking distance to the beach and local shops, it was nice to be closer to end of the beach as taking the tram up was close too. The parking is in an underground parkade a few blocks up. Very tight space but the staff were amazing with helping get me in and out (had a large suv) breakfast was good too, will book again if I visit again!!”

“The beach access is amazing!! The hotel would do well to have the restaurant fix their chairs because staying above the restaurant all you hear all day and night are the chairs scraping across the floor. Besides that hotel is clean, convenient, AC worked well. The area around is nosy (my room was ocean view) so it's to be expected that you hear all the action. We also had a balcony (not many rooms so) and I found that really worthwhile to people watch at night! ”
