“The house is amazing; huge, clean, well-equiped and the view is speechless. The owner is available to answer any questions as well as Esther who is in the village to welcome you and answer any other questions you may have. If you are looking for a quiet village, this is perfect. We did a few trails which all started iin the village. You can also find a few grocery stores. Since it was early in January, not all restaurants were open. We arrived by train and took a taxi from the train station……

Nestled into the hillside under Gaucin, with breathtaking views of mountains, the Mediterranean Sea and even North Africa, this villa exceeded our expectations and allows for the perfect relax and escape. Other reviews have mentioned: smell of mould - no evidence of this on our trip old towels - not a concern for us, additional pool towels were also there. The villa and grounds are stunning. “Nous avons passé deux semaines fantastiques dans cette maison. Notre hôte Paco était très disponible et discret à la fois. La maison est particulièrement agréable et semblable aux photos de l'annonce. Elle est dotée d'une décoration soignée qui conserve le goût de l'authenticité. Malgré les journées chaudes du mois d'août, la température baisse la nuit et c'est un régal de dormir au calme, les larges fenêtres ouvertes, avec cette brise légère qui parcourt la maison. “The house is quite dark, and everything is fairly basic. However, it is very affordable and sleeps a lot of people. We were staying in February when the house was cold and the pool far too cold! Lots of heaters provided throughout though and the pool is a great size/ would be fantastic in the summer. Property is about 5 minutes drive from Ronda with supermarkets even closer. Nice location for peace and quiet, long walks and accessible to good roads/ town. ”

“Gaucin is a lovely village & our stay at Casa Mihrab (Charming House) was great. It was very central with lots of restaurants nearby. The views from the terrace were spectacular. We would certainly stay again.”

“La casa está en un estado de absoluto abandono. Estado de limpieza lamentable, si os gustan las arañas es sin duda vuestro lugar, ya que están por todas las esquinas de la casa, por las mesas y sillas del salón, en los dormitorios,...junto a ellas sus telarañas llenas de víctimas como libélulas y mosquitos. Los WC son otro de sus puntos fuertes ya que están decorados con unos chorretones negros que denotan el estado de limpieza mencionado anteriormente. Los colchones son de muelles y es un sitio……

“Amazing property, perfect for our group of 2 couples and one single person. The location was great and we walked everywhere. It was wonderful to have coffee in the morning and wine at night outside in the gorgeous courtyard. ”
