"Historic building with creaky floors in a great downtown location. Initially I was on the third floor in a room facing the roof but I asked to move after noticing the lock was missing from the window. Access could have been gained by anyone else in a 3rd floor "rooftop garden" room. I moved to a 2nd floor room facing the railroad tracks which was noticeably noisier but I have to say the earplugs provided by the hotel do work!"

"This is a lovely historic hotel. The desk staff and the wait staff are top notch. The restaurant and the bar have great service and good food. I would certainly stay there again."

"Small, noisy but comfortable rooms. Very minimal no fridge, microwave or bench/chair. Great spot to access downtown Hood River. At checking we were handed our key cards and they said have a good stay. No instructions of when pool, sauna was open. No instructions about when and where coffee was an available. We were able to take our own drinks up to the roof top because it is not open for drinks or food yet."

"The lodge was amazing for our large group. We used every aspect of the house and it had everything we needed. We didn’t use the fire pit but did use the grill. The house was perfect, nothing missing. The location was secluded and gave use the privacy our group was looking for. "
