Most people visit the Great Smoky Mountains to enjoy the outdoors, and at Overlook Lodge, you won’t have to go far to breathe in the fresh mountain air and catch amazing mountain views. Five decks offer up beautiful mountain and valley views. You could easily spend all day outside. We also feature a fire pit area with a unique cowboy caldron hanging fire pit under the stars with spectacular Mountain Views!

Choose between the open decks or the covered decks depending on your mood. Whichever you choose, you’ll still enjoy the scenery. There are multiple seating areas, a Weber gas grill, and a private hot tub. It doesn’t get much better than this!

☆☆ GAME ROOM ☆☆
The game room is one of the most popular places for kids of all ages. There is a pool table, shuffleboard, a foosball table, a multigame arcade, and a designated movie area with a large screen TV and theater style-seating.

☆☆ BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS ☆☆
The cabin features 5 bedrooms ( 4 spacious bedrooms and 1 kids bunk room) so your whole group can spread out and get some privacy when needed.

The first two bedrooms are located on the upper level and have king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms.

The third and fourth bedrooms are located on the main level and share a full bathroom. Bedroom 3 features a large king-size bed, and Bedroom 4 is a bunk room the kiddos in your group will love. Note that the bunk bed is truly just for kids and has a weight capacity of 200lbs on the bottom bunk and 150lbs on the top bunk.

The fifth bedroom is located on the lower level and features two queen beds and an attached full bathroom. There’s a hairdryer in each bathroom.

☆☆ KITCHEN + GREAT ROOM ☆☆
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook tasty family meals. There are pots and pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, utensils, a blender, a toaster, a slow cooker, glassware, dishes, flatware, a wine opener, and more. A few basic cooking supplies like olive oil and different spice blends are also available.

You can enjoy your meals as a family at the large dining table (seating for eight) with beautiful views from the floor to ceiling windows, or head outside and dine alfresco at the outdoor dining table (seating for six). You could also cozy up to the bar area in the kitchen (seating for four).

The great room is located just across from the kitchen area. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. Lounge on one of the sofas as you catch up on your favorite shows on the large Smart TV, enjoy a family game night from our collection of board games, or simply listen to the crackle of the fireplace.

You will have private access to the entire cabin for the duration of your stay. Contactless self-check-in is available.

There’s free parking for 4-5 cars in the flat parking lot. Note that the cabin is located about two minutes from the main road (Wears Valley Rd). The short drive and private driveway are both steep but well-paved and absolutely worth it for the views!

Each group will be given a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, and laundry detergent. We recommend stocking up on groceries and any other supplies. The closest grocery store is about a six-minute drive from the cabin.
