"Came up in July of 2024. Weather was overcast and sprinkled rain temperature around 55. Seward is a very short drive away. The view out front of the lodge was spectacular. Exit Glacier is a short 8 mile drive from the lodge. The owner met us at the front desk everyday and knew both of our names. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. "Seward is great for a relaxing staycation.
This hotel offered me great view from the wide window. Room is clean and well decorated. Friendly staff and convenient access to lot of restaurants. Just little bit far from grocery stores."

"THe view was spectacular: you are right on the beach. Sea otters, and shore birds, and even a bald eagle. Whale watching from the deck and some rooms.
Queen suite with kitchen was fresh and moose motif abounds. Comfy with views from the room via big windows.
The owner and staff are kind thoughtful people who went out of the way to ensure smooth sailing.
Book ahead. This place is priceless.
