This hostel/ Inn was insanely cute, spotlessly clean, and had the sweetest most attentive host and staff! They have an easy to use pancake/waffle station with unlimited coffee every morning and a gorgeous kitchen to use at your discretion. Will absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
I stayed in a lovely cottage with a bedroom, small living room, bathroom, kitchen, and patio. The cottage is different from the yurts.
Convenient for hiking the Harding Icefield.
We have never stayed in yurts previously and truly enjoyed the experience. Bed was very comfortable, yurt was airy and spacious with anything we might need. Showers and bathrooms were clean and available. The group kitchen with storage worked perfectly. We would love to stay here again.
The best way to describe this property is quaint. It is very basic, but very comfortable. If you are looking for a convenient place to spend a night or two, this is it. If you stay out in a cabin, trailer or yurt, you get the Alaska experience of an outhouse, although there are warm, clean bathrooms and shower facilities in the main lodge. On my list for places to stay in Seward.
The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway.
The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person.
The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions.
Oh, the stay reminded me of my childhood and youth scouting days.
Just like it said…. I had a cute renovated trailer—- shared bathrooms and kitchens… great staff, good location…. Somewhere between a hostel and a set of cabins —- so nothing fancy, but i got great nights sleep
This place is beautiful, well planned, even in a yurt they throught of every possible amenity you could want. Loved it so much Im wanting to come back just to stay here. HIGHLY recommend this for a unique and amazing time
This place was exactly as advertised. It was a neat hostel environment with clean options for showers and baths and a full kitchen for coffee, breakfast and cooking. It was a family atmosphere with a great on site host. Our cabin was tiny but all we needed with lots of character. We would stay again.
We enjoyed the time we spent here. We stayed in 3 different locations on the property and enjoyed each one for different reasons. We especially enjoyed the yurt village. Everything was nice and clean, the staff was friendly, and it was such a fun experience.
Fabulous property with a wilderness feel. Lovely surroundings with fire pit, communal outside dining, complimentary waffles and pancakes. A great experience, wish i could have stayed longer.
have stayed commun
The Nauti Otter is definitely a fun and unique place to stay. It was clean and I appreciated the sense of community.
However, I do not plan on staying here again next time I visit Seward. I stayed in one of the three indoor rooms right next to the only indoor full bathroom and the kitchen/dining area. There are no observed quiet hours at the Nauti Otter so the sounds of people talking and moving around loudly kept me up late at night and woke me up early in the morning.
My stay was surprisingly delightful.
I appreciated the host and the crew.
Very accommodating for my needs this trip. I am definitely going back to enjoy everyones company. Thanks Nauti Otter.
Darling quiet yurts in the forest with everything you need, heaters in yurts, outdoor sinks, showers with plenty of space, hairdryers, a huge kitchen with fridges, grills, tables to chill and cook - great for cyclists, travelers and people who want different experience.
