  • Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin with great access to Seward. This (3) bedroom, (1.5) bath oasis is just 3 miles from Seward and sleeps 6 guests comfortably. With a full kitchen, laundry, and spacious kitchen you'll enjoy a cabin feel with all of the amenities you need! As our guest, we're here to help you explore Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park, offering discounts on many tours in the area!

    A well-equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry, mudroom, cozy living area and a full bathroom are located on the main floor, with three bedrooms and a half bath located upstairs, this home is perfect for 6 guests. *Please note that the upstairs floor boards can be a bit creaky as you walk -- quirks of a log home! The cabin has two decks, a fire pit, a small outdoor cooking area, and a spacious yard. Scootberry Cabin is the perfect place to relax outdoors. Located on a 1 acre forested lot in a quiet area, we often see moose and other wildlife in the yard. Kenai Fjords National Park is a short drive away, giving you close access to Exit Glacier!

    As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.

    Kylee, Clay and the Seward Vacation Stays team are excited to host you, share their favorite Alaskan adventures, and ensure you have the very best stay in Seward.

    We do encourage guests to refrain from cooking fish inside the home. We've provided an outdoor grill for this purpose instead. We do not allow processing of fish on property. The television is on the smaller side, so wouldn't be considered a main source of entertainment.

Our stay at the Scootberry Cabin was perfect! It was very well stocked and worked great for our group of five. The weather was rainy and it was wonderful to relax in a cozy cabin. Our host’s communication about check-in, local activities, and the property was fantastic! We would definitely recommend this cabin.

Very cute cabin… perfect location… well stocked and very clean… perfect size for the 3 of us… would definitely stay here again… internet was great… granddaughter was able to keep up with her schoolwork in our down time! Thanks for the hospitality!

Our stay included family members from 2 years old to 80 years old. The cabin was a perfect place for our Seward stay. It was warm and inviting, with a cozy Alaska vibe. It met our needs beautifully.

Great stay in Seward

The cabin was just as pictured and exceeded our expectations. Everything that we needed was provided and the cabin was outfitted beautifully. The location was close to downtown Seward, but far enough away for it to be a peaceful and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely log cabin in the woods. All bedrooms upstairs with full bath downstairs and half bath up. Very well equipped kitchen. Small hot water heater. Enjoyable stay.

Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the cabin. The only negative was that the 2nd level floor boards creaked everytime you walked on them, especially in the master bedroom, but other than that we were extremely happy.

Cute cabin

My family loves that it was close to town. A close walk to the water and that it had a beautiful backyard. We also enjoyed building a fire. Found moose droppings in the property but didn't see one. There was an Eagle nest at the RV park close by. So much fun to them then so close up!
