「The cabin was perfect for a quick getaway. Very clean and tidy, close to Boone and many hiking trails. Renters should be aware that the road leading to the house is gravel and quite rutted in spots, especially right in front of the house, with lots of loose gravel. This made it tricky to make it up the very steep driveway with only 2WD, I spun out a couple of times in my RAV4. 」

「Our church group had a great time at the cabin. It is definitely large enough for 30 people with plenty of parking spots. Definitely recommend for those looking to go as a large group. Plus location is great as it is very close for things skiing or sledding. 」

「The Woods Edge was the perfect getaway my brother and I were looking for. My dad is turning 84 and we wanted to give him a relaxing weekend in the high country. This place is accessible to everywhere…Boone and it’s great selection of restaurants, Banner Elk/Linville and it’s great waterfalls and hikes, Vilas and it’s perfect setting for eating ice cream at Mast by the stream. Super clean and comfortable. A big thank you to Cynthia and Olen for a great weekend!」

「My husband and I stayed two nights in the cabin while in the area for the Grayson Highlands 50-mile trail race. The cabin was so cute and cozy, clean, just as pictured. Incredible mountain views from the front porch and the hot tub, both of which proved key to my recovery the following morning!
