這間已經住過好幾次，因交通方便，就在人民廣場地鐵14號出口，步行5分鐘到南京東路步行街，大型商場，地道手信，購物方便，還有各式美食😋 房間問題只有一個，花灑的水壓不足，水力不夠！

Classic design and convenient location
Photos and information provided by hotel to the agent was somehow misleading describing that the Art Deco room has an independent living area. Upon checking in, there was no such area and better watch out for more accurate information about this hotel. Yet, the design was classic that some travellers would like and location convenient with subway just across the street within seconds. Unexpectedly convenient to take the subway from airport to hotel direct, and a very attractive fee of only several RMB for some 45 km transportation from Putong airport to hotel. But don't expect any open views as it was surrounded by high-rise buildings.

A amazing hotel of old Shanghai
The hotel location is very good, closed to the subway station, nearby with many shopping malls and restaurants, just 7 minutes on foot to the Nanjing Pedestrian Street, and within 22 minutes to the bund. The breakfast buffet is good with quite wide range of food choice. If you have enough budget, recommend to stay at the Art Deco suite at 6/fl, this lovely suite have 4 balcony that can offer you a wonderful staying experience.

Nice boutique hotel but seems aging
Have been to this hotel many times, from the days when it was still part of the Langham group, but it seems that the hotel is suffering from aging. There is some unpleasant smell in the toilet; staff has to open the window. Carpets and wall papers appear to be wearing out too. On the positive side, the overall decor and service remains good. The location is superb, which is the primary reason why I chose this hotel.

Shanghai Grand room - Balcony room without balcony
I booked the Shanghai Grand room that Hotel.com mentioned room with balcony and at room size 484 sq.ft, but when I check-in the reception said that both the room size and room with balcony are not guaranteed, this is not acceptable since it means I cannot book this hotel room according to the information provided from Hotel.com! Actually I booked 3 rooms, only one room (room 523) is the room with balcony and with the correct room size!! Concierge staffs are good, help you to deliver your luggage to the room. Hotel location is perfect, close to the subway station and closed to the shopping area with many restaurants. Room is clean, bed is very comfortable, bathroom is big. Breakfast is quite good, and food quality is good also. The Chinese restaurant (Tang Restaurant) at 2/fl with quiet and comfortable environment for dinning, food quality is in average.
