Lovely cottage, so clean and tidy.

Lovely cottage, so clean and tidy. The welcome package was a lovely surprise. Very peaceful even though it's on a working farm. Andrew and Jane very welcoming hosts, it was perfect.We definitely be staying again, Thank you.

Wonderfull farm cottage

Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

A peaceful retreat near Sheffield and the Peak District on a working farm.

The Calf Pens was a comfortable well equipped property with room for 4. It is a newly converted farm building and has been done to a high standard. The owners were helpful and welcoming. A nice welcome pack including local butter and milk was appreciated. We were able to access Sheffield easily via the tram and it's park and ride 5 mins drive away. We also enjoyed walks in The Peak District particularly around Derwent Water. A sucessful break, we would return.
