Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.

Great Hotel with easy access and parking at the rear, Simple keycode and Key box access, Noise from road is the only downpoint as you cant have windows open, Otherwise the rooms are great and the bathrooms are clean and good showers, This is a great one night stop. No food available on site but some local restaraunts in walking distance. Bar staff are very friendly and live sport on Numerous Tv's. Will definitely use again,

Dog friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Free on site parking is very convenient. Easy walking distance to Fox Valley and all its amenities. On occasions, at weekends, rooms at the front of the hotel, you can hear people leaving the pub at the end of the night. Although the noise doesn’t go on for long. It has never put us off staying.

The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed. We appreciated the generous complimentary items. We were visiting YSP and it was very easy from Friendship Hotel. There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance. We were always able to park at the back of the hotel. Friendship Hotel suited us well for our short break.

Clean and comfortable, a great stay.

The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers. It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well.

Ideal Comfy Rooms at Dog Friendly Pub

Great rooms. Exactly what we needed. Staff are very friendly and locals were too. Rooms were very clean and good size. Beds were comfy and easy access direct to car park from 1st floor, made it easy with our dogs. Fox Valley Shopping Park was 5-10 minutes walk and had some nice places for breakfast and dinner. Will definitely use this as a base again, when bringing our dogs to the moors.

Just be aware these are rooms above a busy pub, which has live (loud) music at the weekend until around 11pm. If you’re OK with that, these are great modern rooms with friendly staff.

There was a seperate entrance to the rooms so you dont have to walk through the pub below and parking around the back. The rooms were clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and we had a nice nights sleep. Will stay again

Lovely hotel but uncomfortable stay

The hotel was lovely and the room was clean and inviting, it had everything we needed for a one night stay. The hotel is also pet friendly, and we had adequate room for 2 dog beds. The bed (or beds) did let the room down, as we had 2 single beds pushed together, and one mattress was higher than the other which made it rather uncomfortable, and we had to sleep on seperate sides of the bed. The only other downside was that it was rather noisy as we were above a lively pub and on a main road. For one nights stay this was bearable.

Ideal for 1 night stay, lacks personal service.

Newly refurbished, spotless and well presented. Road noise could be a problem early hours but fan provided so windows could remain closed. Basically self check in and out with keybox access. We stayed 2 nights and room was not serviced and blocked shower outlet reported was not attended to. Perfect location for our needs. Recommend for 1 night stay but prefer more personal service for longer stays.
