“Had probably the best birthday weekend ever. The location, view and proximity to the beach were outstanding. The sand on the beach was so fine and smooth. Hearing the waves while you slept was the best. I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen. Mary was very responsive when I had to reach out to her. “7 family members and I rented this beautiful home on a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The check in and check out process was seamless. The home was spotless. We used the kayaks and bicycles that the owners made available to guests (the Hart-Montague bike/pedestrian path, about 5 miles away, is one of the best we have ever been on) and spent many evenings on the two decks overlooking the water. “It's all about the beach! This house would be ideal for a family with small children. We had four adults and the bunkbeds were not ideal, but since we mostly spent all of our time outside, it wasn't that big of a deal. “We had an amazing time at this property! The view is breathtaking & there was LOTS of beach this year.  Kids loved swimming & the sunsets.  The house has new siding & a new deck on the other side w/ new stairs, which was not shown in the pictures. “Parents and two adult children stayed in the eagles nest. We stayed upstairs and our boys had the entire downstairs to themselves. It was clean and had recent updates. The host Christine is on site snd responded whenever we had a question. She was great! The entire grounds have recent updates and are well kept. Even the beach had been raked when we arrived. We rented a pontoon boat from Christine and were able to enjoy the entire lake. Enjoyed the hot tub, swam, built a fire. Nice mix of sun……

“The property and location were both 10s. Communications with the owner was very easy and they were very responsive. All the furnishings were the best that I have had in a VRBO. We lacked for nothing during our stay. Everything we needed was furnished and of the best quality. The sunset views from the deck were outstanding and it was just a short walk to the beach.
