“First impressions definitely speak very loudly. No signage outside suggesting motel 6. A lot of construction to the building itself, very ghetto looking. Night clerk had his car parked under the carport at the entry, nor clothing indicated that he works for motel 6, wearing very casual clothing and did not introduce himself, as though I was expected to know he was not a guest himself. Otherwise the room was spacious and clean. But absolutely no blankets on the bed or in the room. A sheet and a……

“It seemed as if some people are living at the property and I did not feel safe when I pulled in. Once I went inside I saw roaches walking around and the smell of insecticide was strong. I had a long drive and tried to go to sleep around 7:30/ 8pm and the people on the floor above me were walking around constantly until after 11pm. I finally got up at 1:30am and left to finish my drive home. I will not stay here again.”

“Worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed at. The door on the mini fridge was not attached & the freezer shelf was unusable due to it being completely frosted. I let the front desk know & she just shrugged her shoulders and said “we know”. The bathtub/shower was filthy as was the carpet near the door.”

“The cabin is as represented in the listing. It’s older, dated & rustic but a perfect fit for a family visit, fishing or hunting trip. The setting is absolutely gorgeous & very peaceful with a beautiful lake view & cypress trees in the water. The cabin amenities were good. Huge tv in den for watching college football. We plan to visit again as our son will be in Memphis for several years. The host family members were so nice & even took us on a boat ride to see the lake. If you are in the area……
