“A really lovely place to stay, a perfect quiet and very pretty little village. The pub owners and bar staff were very welcoming and made a wonderful breakfast, and we had dinner there one night too which was fab!”

The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. “We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away. The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips. Our room COX was above the bar. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer.
