Foothill tranquility
We chose this property in large part for the location off the beaten path but within easy striking distance of the Folsom area. It provided exactly the peace and quiet we had hoped, and that made our down time and sleeping much better than somewhere busier.
Arrival was smooth, and the property was clean, although no what I would call high level ‘industry standard’ clean. Given the length of our stay we also expected to clean as we went anyway.
The kitchen was amply equipped and big enough for one person to cook at a time. There wasn’t much storage space in the kitchen, so we did smaller shops rather than a full stock-up process.
The bed was comfortable, and the living space was sufficient for two people. The electric fireplace was great to knock the chill off most days, and when it was warm enough we enjoyed sitting outside.
We don’t watch a lot of TV, but navigating the smart TV wasn’t super intuitive. We were able to stream on laptop or iPad just fine.
Great WiFi strength. We run an online business and were able to do what we needed while there.
