This place is beautiful. From the old buildings to the privet onsen, and the restaurant, everything was perfect. It is upscale luxury with a very old school vibe. We loved it here!
Amazing host, wonderful modern and traditional rooms. Very clean and comfortable. A top tier experience and very western visitor friendly. The food on site is made with care and delicious.
Well located and maintained property, with exceptional good food, and efficient yet friendly service. A genuinely true value for money experience in Narai.
Such an amazing surprise. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at and a great dinner. Staff was wonderful. The town is magical after hours when all the tourist leave. I would absolutely recommend.
My partner and I recently celebrated our anniversary at this remarkable hotel, and we were truly blown away by the experience. The staff were exceptional, demonstrating impeccable attention to detail, which made our stay incredibly special. The hotel’s surroundings and stunning architecture added to the charm and created an unforgettable atmosphere. This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and for being part of such a meaningful celebration.
Our stay at Byaku was one of the most memorable experiences on our Japan trip. The hotel exemplifies Japanese artistry in so many ways, from hospitality to cuisine to design. It was a unique opportunity to stay in an historic region in a beautifully renovated historic Japanese structure.
Amazing unforgettable experience; the hotel setting in Naraijuku was unique and created another beautiful environment in the already charming town. Room amenities are personalized with welcome, we arrived early and luggage was delivered to our room before we officially checked in; the private onsen was heated in readiness for our stay. Special items such as clove scented bedroom socks were a pleasant surprise. Natural wood and cotton were signature in the decor and materials used. Highly recommended to include dinner reservation with the hotel as there are very few restaurants, most of which close early, in this lovely remote town. We stayed one night and it was the highlight of our month long visit to Japan.
