"Very nice cabin in the Gifu mountains with a covered patio outside that’s fitted with a charcoal grill, sink, fire wood and a portable fire pit. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and well built with a unique taste. Two bedrooms on the second floor with a front facing sitting room. "The property is historic, yet well renovated, so we were comfortable. They also provide tea and cups of noodles at no additional cost if guests need a snack. The biggest bonus is that it's a traditional Japanese house in a historic part of town, so staying there is a travel experience in itself. The small intersection the house is located at is even on the front cover of a tourist handout at the local TI office. We highly recommend it. "
