“Incredible location and facilities”

“Glamping in the Kimberly. Nice tents, but very hot during the day. Nice cool pool. Good bar restaurant. Walk to Emma Gorge is tough: hands and knees in places. Do it early, rest when hot, bring water.”

“This place caters to tour groups and to self sufficient campers but not to the in- between category ie people that travel by car and without camping equipment. You can purchase fancy cocktails there but there is no one to help you change a tyre. There is no hosepipe so you can clean your car when it has a centrmeter’s worth of red dust on it. Staff do not have the answers to anything beyond the confines of the property. Frankly these watering holes on the Gibb are vital but let’s provide some……

“Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location? ”

“We arrived after a long drive, and a lovely fellow named Brook escorted us to our room. He was the owner apparently, and apologised for the refurbishments currently being undertaken at the motel. The TV was missing from our room (someone had taken it), and some a**hole had completely trashed the room a few along from ours which he was in the process of repairing.
