"The outside of the buildings looked a little old, but inside, it was very clean and very comfortable with an impressive amount of helpful appliances for food and temperature/humidity comfort. I would have given this hotel a perfect 5 star rating, but unfortunately the bedroom window (Room #7) faced a separate residential house that had many very loud and annoying dogs that barked every day from 6am to 12pm without stopping. Onsen was very nice, rooms have been keep in top shape, with new fresh tatami mats, clean walls, etc. Buffett breakfast had a lot of choices, Japanese and some western items. It’s a shame that they allow smoking in the rooms because we are non-smokers and smoke particles cannot be completely eradicated from the room even with a room humidifier and spray fragrance. So we could not be as comfortable as we normally would be had it been a non-smoking room. My request to the property is to create more non-smoking rooms to be available or completely eradicate smoking rooms, period! Because smokers...
