「We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus!
Check in / check out was swift and efficient.

「The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places.」

「Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.」
