"My family of 4 stayed at Alex’s farmhouse for 2 nights for Thanksgiving. Directions and check-in were clear and easy. The property is off a quiet dirt road and there is a scenic pond near the house and amazing views. Upon entering the glass room, we were pleased to see how beautiful it was with all the windows, exposed beams and slate wood burning fireplace. Continuing on into the house, the kitchen was modern and updated with all the essentials for cooking while enjoying beautiful mountain views out the window. We loved all the antique rooms, furniture and pictures. It was a perfect blend and balance of antique charm with modern updates like the kitchen and bathrooms. Alex was a great host, communicating before, during and after our trip to make sure all was well. The property both inside and out was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again when in the area!"

"A lovely home in a beautiful setting. The home evokes investigation of the history of the area due to its nostalgic decor. The grounds were well cared for and the home was clean and provided everything we needed for days of relaxing and enjoying the scenery. I walked up the old road bed and watched the falling leaves in the sunlight. Large rock formations and the stone fence in the woods along the road bed were like looking back in time. It was very peaceful and beautiful and we would love to visit again. "
