Beautiful Mountain House with a View

Our mountain suite features a King bed in a loft (accessed by stairs, not a ladder) overlooking a cozy living space. The loft faces huge windows that showcase a fantastic view of Sunrise Peak mountain. The living room has a comfortable window-seat sleeper sofa, TV, and books. There is a kitchenette with mini fridge, small sink, electric skillet, countertop toaster/oven, french press, drip coffee maker, electric teakettle, small crockpot and basic dishware - just enough of a kitchen to meet your needs. Down the hall is a full bathroom with Spanish-tile walk-in shower and a heated towel rack. The front flagstone patio has ski-lift chairs and nice landscaping. Access to great hiking is just out the door. The other half of the house is used by us only occasionally, so the space is private and quiet. Silver Plume is a dirt-road town, easily walk-able and fun to explore. Our studio has everything you need for a comfortable, cozy, and special mountain getaway.

Charming Get Away

Silver Plume is like a living Ghost Town. Full of history. The people there know everyone by name and make you feel very welcome. This property was perfect for my husband and I. The views from all the windows were picture perfect. The decor is very charming and I enjoyed looking at the decor. Just beautiful details. We found the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting in the rocker by the windows reading my book. The kitchen was just the right size for our vacation needs.

We really loved our stay, it was perfect for two adults and it does have a pull out bed so would be suitable for more. The area was really quiet and beautiful. Loved the decor and overall space. We would love to stay here again!

Mountain Stay

The property was beautiful and had a lovely flagstone patio to drink coffee and enjoy the peace and quiet. The house was so cute with beautiful wood floors, high ceilings, a wonderful window seat, the decor was really great, especially all of the photos, I loved the loft with the comfortable bed and I thought the little galley kitchen and bathroom were adorable. I met Don the neighbor and he was really friendly. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you.

A very nice hideaway.

We would stay here again---let's state that up front. LIKES: Quiet on the inside (although I-70 was loud out front); super hot water in the nice big shower; Comfy bed; easy access on and off I-70. DISLIKES: Kitchenette instead of kitchen (we were aware of this up front; we were not misled); NO TABLE and chairs to eat at. My wife and I had to sit on the floor at this pygmy coffee table to eat. These two issues will be non-issues for most others; they just kept this place from being 5 star for us. Good value. No regrets for staying there.
