"Had a great 25th anniversary get away! This location is close to several waterfalls. We brought our kayaks, kayaked to the bottom of Burgess falls. Then drove to the park, to hike and enjoy the scenery of top of the falls. The room had plenty of towels and wash rags. Love that the room had starter paper towels, trash bags, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cold!! Check in was a breeze! The host was available via phone call for any questions."

Super 8 by Wyndham Cookeville

10/10 Excellent

"I only complaint was that there was just hardly any counter room around the sink to put your things. But that was just the way it was built so. Anyway everything else was great. They have a washer and dryer if you need to wash your clothes. The breakfast was nice."

Center Hill Serenity

8/10 Good

"The interior was great, spacious rooms, well supplied, clean. There were no instructions, so we had to figure out how to use the remotes to get the air units to work. We never figured out the fireplace. We didn't plan on it being ADA accessible, but my sister who is in a wheelchair, was able to move around the space with no issues. The exterior was grown up, so getting to the fire pit didn't have a clear path and the pit itself had overgrowth in it. Our determined teenager cleaned it out and did build a fire so s'mores were eaten. And there should be instructions given on the final approach to the house on getting up a proper amount of speed to get up the gravel drive so you don't spin out or get stuck and have to back up and get a better running start. If your first time arriving is after dark take the driveway very carefully and use your high beams, then don't be timid at the last part -- give it some gas to get up that incline. The beds all had mixed reviews, some were great, some were not, so choose wisely and pull rank so you get one of the better ones.Overall, we really had a great time. Other than one afternoon on the lake we spent most of our vacation time in the cabin playing games and watching movies. We would recommend this cabin to others. We would have liked more information from the host. A guest information book with details about how to use the air units (cold and hot), fireplace, and any cleaning instructions like what to do with the trash, laundry, etc."
