Little beach house

Weekend away in Silverleaves

I stayed here with two friends for a girls' weekend. We enjoyed this quiet and secluded unit in Silverleaves, taking advantage of the proximity to the General Store where we had a lovely breakfast. It was a very cold and blustery weekend but the heater did a good job of keeping the unit cosy, although we did bring an extra fan heater for the bedrooms. The unit was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The shower was lovely and hot too. Would like to visit in better weather but enjoyed it nevertheless and felt it was good value for money.

The property needs work, with holes in the roof of the car park and paint faded away on the doors, and a good clean on the sticky furniture, doors, lights, dirty cutlery and crockery.

We loved the house, we had everything we needed, however we felt that it wasn't that clean enough as the grandkids pick up tiny dog hairs everywhere every now and then, the rooms and bed smell funny and very dusty so we had to vacuum and sanitise everything first. The instructions where the house is located wasn't clear but we managed to find it. We also noticed that the interior photos doesn't match what's in their website Be mindful too that they can only respond during office hours, but very attentive. But don’t get us wrong, we loved the house and it's amenities, all appliances are working that's our priority. It just needs extra TLC that's all. Overall we were happy with our stay, the location was perfect in Phillip Island attractions. We gave the house a really good clean before we left as we kinda missed it already. We definitely want to come back and would recommend it. Please don't trash the place where you stay, respect it like your own home and you will definitely enjoy your stay.

Weekend stay at Phillip Island

This unit is one of three on the block. Our unit was at the rear so we had peace and quiet. The Silverleaves area doesn't have a suburban feel - even though we were in a residential area, the feeling is rural, with a bush vibe. Our street was only one block back from the beach so it was a quick and easy walk to get there. We found the unit to be clean, comfortable and well set up. Everything we needed was on hand. We'll definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a quaint little 3 bedroom unit, tucked away in a quiet, and lovely part of Phillip Island, called Silverleaves. All in aamenities were provided at this location, apart from Wifi, which was not a problem as my family and I spent our nights playing board games etc. This property was in close proximity to the golf course, and had a quaint little cafe, which was open in the morning, if you required a coffee or breakfast. Not far up the road was a bowling alley for the kids, and the local shops in Cowes were only 10 minutes away. My family and I enjoyed cruising around to various parts of the island visiting the animal sanctuary, Pyramid Hill, The Nobbies, Grossard Point in Ventor and other attractions. My family and I also enjoyed visiting the Mos Eisley cafe, Sambreros Mexican restaurant, and other various takeaway shops. All in all was a great little vacation at the Island.
