Great place for a family Vacation

The apartment is very spacious and has enough beds for 12 people comfortable.

Would be better if the middle bed on the loft could be updated --- the bed is somehow out of shape and the person slept on it felt waist pain. The TV could be updated to enable airplay for better experience.

Okay Stay

Initially, this place was okay for fitting a large group, however the water heater broke the first night (apparently a known issue by the maintenance worker) and we were without hot water for a day. The company had good communication and in giving us options for a discount if we stayed or relocating us to a different property, but it was quite a lot to deal with and a big hassle while trying to enjoy the vacation. We ended up having to relocate to another property and they didn’t give us a discount, even for all the trouble, which was less than ideal.

Regarding the management company, they initially cancelled my reservation referring to multiple emails and calls that were not answered. I had only received one email that I didn’t get to fill out for a few days. I was able to rebook. Understandably they did not allow for an early check in or late check out due to a holiday weekend however delivery method was cold and not personable.

Good but too high of a price.

The property has all it offers, but there is a problem that you can't control the temperature at your will.I think it is a high price compared to other properties we have stayed before.The bad part which is unintentional, is that there was a leak reported by the neighbor below, and we were requested not use a shower, and we were bothered a few times for this.Location was great.

Budget Friendly and Functional, but with caveats

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was a good value, but it's not as nice as the photos suggest. If you just want a place to sleep, it has comfortable beds, we were well rested for skiing and that's all that mattered to us, and the kitchen functions well. But here are the caveats.... It's an older building that was poorly built, the whole unit just feels drafty, cold, and lacking insulation, which was made worse by the nest thermostat that couldn't hold a steady temp. The two love seats are really worn down. It is a long climb up narrow stairs to get inside. The materials in the bath remodels are nice, but workmanship is poor, (for example water leaks all over floor each time you shower in the master). In summary: good value, great location, comfy beds, good kitchen, but unit has some drawbacks.

Kitchen and living room areas were great for hanging out and spending time together. A few negatives - it's a 4-story walk-up. It wasn't mentioned in the description and with the high altitude, walking up from the parking spot was a bit difficult. You can drive around to the front of the house, and it's a 1-story walk-up. But the parking is located at the bottom of the 3-story unit. The bathrooms are located only on the first floor. The master bedroom has 1 bathroom, and the guest bathroom is right outside of the guest bathroom. So guest on the 2nd floor had to come downstairs to us the restroom or shower. The main shower also had a leak, but it can easily be fixed. The A/C unit was a difficult to learn at first, it kept going back down to 64 degrees and with the outside temperature being -15 degrees, it was very cold. After figuring it out, the AC/heating system was great. The fireplace was great and warm. Kitchen was big and had a lot of things we could use. The beds were great, and we didn't realize that the couch in the living room has a pull-out bed, but we didn't use it. There were extra blankets and pillows for us to use. Overall it was a great place to stay. The view was beautiful and the house was clean.

Best winter home

Such a cozy home to stay with the family. Amazing view to Silverthorne town. Stores are very close from the neighborhood. Amazing trails next to the neighborhood. Would definitely go back on the summer.

Great Stay No Matter the Season

We enjoyed our stay at the Wildernest. Although we came in the summer to enjoy a day on the Dillon Rez and a night at the Dillon Ampitheater, this would be a great spot to come back to for winter skiing. Check-in process was a breeze and check-out was just as simple.
