Downtown Silverton Historic Mountain Home, White Wolf Haus

This remodeled historic home is in a prime location at the quiet north end of 'notorious' Blair Street and a one-block walk from the main avenue. A quaint Victorian on the outside, it features all the modern-day conveniences and comforts on the inside. The house is located on a corner lot so there is plenty of parking in the yard for trucks and trailers.

GREAT VALUE. This house is sunny, cozy and perfect for good friends or two small families. A kitchen island bar makes for a fun social atmosphere. A sunny porch with views, a wood-burning stove,and a ski-tuning shop make this the perfect base camp for your Silverton adventures.

This 1200 sf house has four bedrooms on two floors and sleeps up to 10. There are two small bedrooms with one having a queen bed and the other has a full-size bed with an additional twin bed. Another bedroom has a king bed and full-size futon. Then there's a very small room with a bunk bed. In the living room, the oversized memory-foam window den can sleep a tall adult. (And it's perfect for naps in the sunshine!)

Our group of 8 people from 2 families stayed at White Wolf Haus for our winter break in December-January every year for the past 11 years. We greatly enjoyed this small but cozy house and got many great memories over the years. Our young kids learned to ski at Kendal Mountain and then moved on to Purgatory skiing. They are teenagers now and still love skiing through the trees at Kendal and ice skating at the outdoor rink and sledding on the local hill. Hot springs at Ouray were also great to visit. The house has everything we needed to cook our meals every day. It has extra blankets and pillows. The hooks next to the fire at the stove is great for drying out mittens, clothes and boots. We highly recommend White Wolf Haus to everybody and especially to families with kids.

Andrew is an awesome host and was extremely communicative and helpful when we had some last minute changes. The house was in a perfect location with all the amenities you needed. The beds were comfortable and the jacuzzi was perfect upon returning from the mountains. We will for sure be back!

Lovely views

We were in Silverton for the scenery and hiking. This house was the perfect spot for both. We loved sitting out on the front porch in the evenings. The view of the surrounding mountains is incredible. Friendly little town too. The house had everything we needed. The only drawback is the road outside is louder than expected at night. Many people hauling trailers even in the middle of the night. Not bad with the windows shut but surprising in a town so small. Maybe that is just a problem in the summer. Even with the little bit of road noise, it is a great place. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

Andrew’s property was great. We have been staying in Silverton area for the past 8 years for spring skiing and this has been the best property. It was clean, simple and that’s all we need. Andrew was very responsive and flexible when we had a medical emergency at the last day and allowed us to stay an extra day if we needed to. Would definitely stay here again.
