I nominate the Prospector Motel for the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel/motel in Colorado.

This motel was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. We got there and had to go to another motel to check in because there was not a person there EVER! 1 room had the window wide open. About 5 other rooms were disheveled and had the lights left on. The hotel is in terrible disrepair. Our room was relatively clean but the shower didn’t work well and the window would not shut because it had a portable air conditioner hose sticking out. The air conditioner didn’t even cool the room. I don’t think I slept 2 hours all night worrying about our pickup and someone getting in the room. This whole motel needs new management and a good scrubbing. I overpaid tremendously for this unmanned dump.

Los detalles de las toallas y demás fue realmente bonito. Gracias. Es raro ver en los hoteles esos tipos de detalles en las toallas papel y demás. Me parece de buen gusto

Check in was quick and easy! Front desk was friendly, beds were more comfortable than previous places we have stayed at. Some of our towels had what looked like make up stains on them which was disappointing. Overall, not bad for the price though and you can’t beat the views surrounding you!

Family friendly pleasant stay

Although July is still a little warm there was no air conditioning. It wasn’t bad. Very clean and update d some. Updated bathroom. Nice little place to stay and while you’re there, check out handlebars and the woodfired pizza place. They were amazing.

Charming, clean, newly renovated Silverton motel

This motel is nicely renovated, with a few changes still needed, but definitely going in the right direction! Need to have recycling cans somewhere on the property, that's important.

Prospector Motel is rather old, but this is not necessarily negative. First of all, it is affordable while hardly anything else is in Silverton. The rooms are spacious (all of them have 2 Queen size beds), well lit and equipped with fridge and microwave. Very clean environment. Very comfortable bed. I really enjoyed my stay.
