Lovely stay at a beautiful house

The house was beautiful, very clean, and in great shape. It is literally on the mountain side. We went with two small children and my parents, and there was space for everyone. We cooked all our meals on site, and all the amenities worked well. The bedrooms were all comfortable. WIFI internet was recently added, which was very helpful. The location is really beautiful, and as described is pretty secluded. We did two of the nearby trails - very beautiful walking trails, with waterfalls and amazing views. One was pretty challenging (Zweribachwasserfälle, as described - bring good shoes) and one was easier for the small kids, but both were great. A few notes - the house is further out from the center of Simonswald than we originally thought (~25 minutes) and is ~50-60 minutes from Freiburg. Definitely do your shopping first! Also, the roads are something to be aware of, for those unfamiliar with the location - some are very narrow and winding in some areas, use caution, and plan ahead. Thank you so much Annette for having us!
