The host was very nice when I talked to him on the phone. We had accidentally locked ourselves out.We only used the upstairs of the house as we did not need the downstairs. The stairs are rather steep so the downstairs would not work for elderly people. The downstairs could use some sprucing up, but the upstairs was comfortable and cozy. It was very, very cold when we were visiting so we were glad to have the use of the garage. The house was toasty and warm.

Spent the night traveling across country. We had 4 of us and lived the remote location and peaceful setting. Tremendous host and would gladly stay again.

The property was neat and clean and well-stocked. It has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a nice size kitchen and nice dining table. Communication with the owner was excellent and check-in was super easy.The house shows some wear and tear.. The downstairs bathroom shower is small and dark, and the ceiling is unfinished with exposed wires and pipes. As a result, we used the upstairs bathroom for showering.

Clean, great location, super functional, had everything we needed and then some. There is a lot of space. Excellent host. If we need a house in this area again this is the first place we’ll check.

Brad is awesome and easy to work with. Property took care of our needs for the family wedding in Sioux City...However...you should know the stairs to the lower level are steep and probably need updated.

Golf trip

This worked great for us. We had 5 people staying, 4 players and a caddie. Our tee times were spread over the entire day. Thursday we had 8:00, 10:20, 11:50 and 2;00 and the second day 8:00, 12:00, 1:20 and 2:20. So the late ones got to sleep in. Pretty much just sleeping and a shower was all we needed

Clean and reasonable

The house is clean, equipped, and exactly what I expected. The price is very good and saved us a lot of money over hotels for this many people. The location is not as nice as we were hoping for, it is near a train yard, and car wash. That said, we felt safe, and only heard trains occasionally. It did not disturb our sleep. It did not feel skanky at all, just a little different location than I was expecting. There were four queen sized beds, we didn’t look for where they are counting the other two sleepers. Owner was easy to talk to, responsive and helpful. I would like it if there were more rental houses like this that charge a reasonable amount for clean lodging. It’s helpful when you’re traveling but it’s not a vacation and you just need a place to stay. Last thing: the leaving/clean out policy was the kindest I’ve had in a rental. Sometimes the list is incredibly long and they want you to do all the laundry and practically clean the whole house before you leave, on top of a high cleaning fee. This place made it easy peasy, and also charged only a very reasonable cleaning fee.

Beyond Superior

We came to town for the NAIA tournament and Brad was amazing from start to finish! This stay was far my best VRBO booking ever! You could not ask for a better host and communicator. He answered every question, checked in on our stay, and was gracious enough to work with us and our uncertain schedule. Thank you again for everything!!!

Great homy stay...

Plenty of space for visiting and engaging. Can't ask for better. The "rules" book is quite hilarious. Great to work with Brad and very well located property.

Excellent visit

We had an easy time finding it. We love having the space and freedom to cook our meals. One morning we got 3 inches of snow and the owners came over bright and early to snow blowed the porch and drive. They even cleaned off our vehicles also.

CLEAN and Comfy

Couldn't be any cleaner! Beds are amazingly comfortable. Plenty of kitchen area to prep food for a meal at my sister's house. Communication was clear and timely.We were in town for a funeral.

Wonderful place to stay for a large family.

Great accomodations

We had 2 families stay here and it was perfect! The upstairs/downstairs allowed us our own spaces but still allowed us to enjoy the stay together! Owner was accomodating and communicative. Easy in and oit location. Garage was nice to host some guests for shaded seating for a cookout.

Family Friendly

Well maintained,clean,comfy beds,new living room furniture and quiet home. Conveniently located to stores and restaurants. This was our 2nd time staying and we were not disappointed.
