"Temperature is 21 degrees Celsius here and the hotel has “closed” their beach. There are young children and adults still trying to swim in the sea while the beach is not clean or maintained and all loungers removed. I asked about this and was simply told it’s closed and to put my towel on the rocks… I was surprised to hear this. Stuff could easily move some loungers there for guests wanting to use the beach- and there are many. Locals are still swimming this week as well- October. The outdoor pool has leaves throughout and most of the pool loungers have been removed. It’s an unwelcoming site. No complaints regarding the inside of the hotel. It’s lovely. Rooms are large. Our sea view rooms have large open views of the sea. Lovely. Hotel is 15 min drive from old city walls. This is a great hotel to get away from the historic charm and get to a peaceful sea bay."

"Lovely short stay in beautiful Cavtat. A hidden gem not too far from Dubrovnik. The hotel was good but a very corporate feel to it. We didn’t eat there except for breakfast which had a great selection of hot and continental style food. Would definitely recommend!"
