The location in downtown Sister Bay across from the marina is wonderful for walking to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The ground floor condo is lovely and new with a nice kitchen and a large living room; however, the condo was not very clean. The master bed didn't have a mattress pad on it, which we discovered when stripping the bed at check out. Communicating with the owner(s) was challenging.

Unfortunate Stay Due to Pest Infestation and Poor Host CommunicationI stayed at Michael’s condo this past weekend and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the unit had a serious pest issue — we were swarmed by gnats and small flies throughout the weekend. We ended up killing over a few dozen flies, and they even got into our food and drinks. The floor and rugs were extremely dirty as well, like they just quickly came through and claimed the place was cleaned before we arrived. I notified the host immediately, hoping for a resolution or at least a partial refund of the cleaning or service fee, given the unsanitary conditions. However, after multiple polite follow-ups over three days, the only response I received was dismissive and unhelpful.It’s unfortunate, because the condo itself could have been nice, but the lack of cleanliness and poor communication completely ruined our stay. I strongly recommend avoiding this property until the pest issue is fully resolved and the host takes better responsibility for guests’ experiences.

Upon arrival (45 minutes early) we entered the condo to discover that the unit had NOT been cleaned at all! Also, the lights in the handicapped bathroom would not turn on. There was poop in the unflushed toilet!, and no towels were present in either bathroom. (We discovered that all the towels were still in the dryer.) The unit was very dirty & dusty! We were not yet aware of all the dirt, dust, cobwebs, crumbs and hair that we found along the floorboards, cupboard edges and inside drawers, Keurig machine in freezer door would not work at all! Oven was really gross! (*see photos...) Informed Property Manager at his 2 emails, Have NEVER heard back from him in almost a week... Really??

It would have been nice that we received the combination again on 08/12/2025 vs the one received in March or at least telling us when it was sent. I forgot about it and could not find it in my email folders. The Property is great. I little dirty but nice. We vacuumed several times cleaned some base boards, more baseboards need to be cleaned. I washed the windows on the doors. Fixed one light in the main bathroom.(Broken in socket) And replaced the lights. (Not with 200 watt bulbs) The extra bathroom needs a new light bulb.

Great location. Great views. However, floors were dirty when we arrived. Coffee maker not working. Air conditioning went out 2 days before departure. Called for maintenance and not fixed before we left.

Absolutely beautiful property however, when we booked, it said there were two single beds in the third bedroom. When we got there, we discovered a bunkbed in that room. 75 year-old ladies don’t do well trying to climb on a bunk! Also, there was no Keurig as listed. No laundry soap to start a load when we left. Perfect location with incredible sunsets.

Awesome location

This is a great location and bedrooms/baths/kitchen all well designed and stocked. Had our lab with us and she sat on front patio and watched all the activity at the marina. Gorgeous sunsets for us while sitting on patio eating brkfst/dinner with coffee or wine.lovely! We will be back.

Stayed for five days at the property. Absolutely great accommodations and location. This unit was ADA and dog friendly, not something we needed, but good for others to know.

Door County Weekend

Perfect layout and space for traveling with another couple. In the heart of the activity and within walking distance of some of our favorite spots. Loved it.
