Home is Fine, but Vacasa is Terrible!!

The home itself is just fine. Basic amminities and close to the pool, tennis courts, etc. However, Vacasa was completely unhelpful and left a dirty home! Be sure to bring your own towels as Vacasa will not supply enough.

Love coming to Black Butte

A comfy cabin in a terrific location. We loved walking to the Glaze Meadows pool and rec center. Beds were comfortable. No air conditioning (that we could find), but plenty of fans. A deep clean is needed for carpet, dishes and light fixtures. And since you have to bring your own towels to the pool, some pool towels would have been appreciated.

Enjoyed our Stay

Lovely home. Sufficiently updated. Well stocked large kitchen. Quiet street. No ac but it was cool enough while we were there and every room had at least 1 fan, or more. Comfortable beds, lots of extra pillows. Check in and out very easy. Problem with lock system solved with a phone call. Very responsive. Only problem was the hot water didn’t make it through 2 showers. We spaced out our showers and have mentioned this to Vacasa. Very close to the rec center/glaze meadow. Bike paths everywhere, right behind the house. Black butte ranch is a beautiful location and the town of sisters nearby has a lively main street with a lot to offer.

Girls Trip

Was perfect for a girls trip!! Had enough space and rooms for everyone and the location of the house was so perfect. Easy walk to the pool, spa, pickle ball courts and close to bike paths. Was comfortable and felt very safe. Will come again!

Outdated bare bones

Yes I saw the photos before booking the last available house in Black Butte. That said It wasn’t stocked with platters or serving pieces to have meals for 5 adults. We were lucky NOT to be having meals there. Visited 2 other homes being rented at the same time to see what other rentals offered. Not good valve for the money and very outdated. Main bedroom had the tub & sink inside the bedroom..That bathroom was the only bathroom on the main floor so anyone in the living room and kitchen needed to use that bathroom.

Location

This is a house located in a quiet area of Black Butte close to the main pool at Glaze Meadow. It has no view. There is a small deck on the second floor. The three beds are comfortable. It was clean and management was quick to respond when we needed extra fans because of the unusually hot weather.

Convenient location for families

Really close to the GMRC where there’s indoor and outdoor pools and a playground. About 5 minutes walking along the bike path. Great house for when you don’t need anything fancy but want a comfortable place for your family to vacation. Quiet and safe.

Needs A Lot of TLC

Poorly maintained with lots of deferred maintenance. Broken fixtures, broken outlets, poorly stocked kitchen, broken coffee pot, uncomfortable beds, lacking appropriate towels, no organization of linens, nearly zero hot water, missing or broken stoppers for sink and tub...certainly appears it is a rental without much thought or consideration for the renters staying there...strictly just rented for income with no reinvestment into the property. We would never stay here again. Much better places on the ranch...we have come to BB for over 15 years and easily feel it is the worst place we have stayed at. Minimal money and time would make it much more enjoyable and comfortable. Location good, but that's it.

Great house!

We had a great stay at this house. It was super clean and in a great location. We were there over New Years and the outside temps averaged 25. The heating system did great and kept us warm inside. Definitely recommend to others!

Vacasa and the property owner were helpful and considerate when we had a problem with the stove. We would stay in this house again.

Zero Communication - No Frills House

First off, I would like to apologize to the home owners for this review. It is not your fault that the property management company do not care about your renters. If you are looking for a bare bones, no frills house with broken items and no communication or support, this is the house for you. I have proof of text messages and phone calls with zero response or support from the local team. When you call, you get a call center, not a local person. It was record setting heat, over 100, and without A/C, we depended on fans. 2 were non functional, including the ceiling fan on the main (upper) level. The beds are very hard, had a tough time sleeping due to that and heat. With no cooling, you need to have fans. I have been vacationing with my family for over 30 years at BBR and this was the worst of the worst as far as communication and lackluster accommodations. Rent from an owner. One that takes care of their home, leaves their direct number for issues and stocks the home with items that someone in their home would need.

Great house, no heat

The house was great, an excellent size for what we wanted, great location. There was no heat in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom, I did talk to Vacasa about it, I said it didn’t have to be addressed until the next day, but then we never heard from them at all. Again the house was great, service was disappointing.

Nice house in Black Butte Ranch

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was the perfect size for 6 people. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. Good value for the money. We only encountered a few issues. The heat in the master bedroom didn't work. The jacuzzi tub was beautiful but we couldn't fill it all the way without the hot water running out, so it was more of a warm jacuzzi. The kitchen was well equipped but they didn't provide any abrasive sponges for scrubbing dishes so it was extremely difficult to get the pans clean. Other than these little issues, everything was great.
