「Wonderful two nights staying in the Barn Annexe as we had our dog with us. That Annexe was spotless, spacious and caters to all your needs. This was our forth time staying at the Hare and Hounds in both rooms within the inn and the Barn. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent both the variety at breakfast and evening meals. Highly recommended. We’re going back for another visit end of November.」

「We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was good. All the staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and steam room were good. The gym was probably the biggest one I've seen in a hotel. Plenty of parking available. We slept very well here. Overall a great experience and we'd visit again, but have dinner somewhere else.」

「I stayed at the Tavern for one night Monday 6/10/25 prior to attending a funeral. I had read previous reviews criticising road noise. Whilst it was heard,I didn’t find it an issue at all. Had a good nights sleep in a comfy bed. Superb bathroom- i loved the large soaker tub- hard to find a room with bath these days. Staff were very friendly and food was hot and tasty with portions on the large side! Would definitely stay here again.」
