"We had a great and quiet stay"

"My family needed a place near Houghton for my nephew's graduation from Michigan Tech. This lake house checked all the boxes: spacious, comfortable, on the water, and a reasonable drive to the university. Ann's attention to detail and eye for beautiful decor were the icing on the cake! The space was absolutely stunning. We spent a lot of time indoors because it rained the entire weekend. The kitchen was fully equipped for staying in to eat. There were books, games and toys. Although it was freezing and raining, the kids still decided to go for a swim! We definitely made some great memories and look forward to booking another stay here!"

"My husband, our 2 children and myself stayed at the property as part of our spring break. This place is awesome! This has got to be the most luxurious cabin we have ever stayed in. The pool/hot tub area was wonderfully maintained and the pool was warm upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided and we used the indoor fireplace daily. Ample cooking supplies were provided, even skewers for smores which I had forgotten. The grounds and lake were expansive and private. Mr. and Mrs. Hockaday were wonderful host, very informative and knowledgeable. We look forward to saying again in the summer."
