「We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. 「The hotel was amazing, very laid back atmosphere yet the staff are super friendly and helpful. The view of the Aegean is also spectacular which we enjoyed while sitting near the pool drinking their amazing cocktails. It’s also not very far from town, about a 9 minute drive to the port and a 4 minute drive to Plakes and there’s also plenty of parking.」

「The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. Depending on the room the appliances did not work which we didn’t find out until everything went...
