「Beautiful cosy and comfortable cottage ideally situated in the glorious setting of Grassington. Local pubs and food were great. People very friendly and welcoming. Stunning scenery and even managed to see Wharfdale play rugby on Saturday (yes they won). Would definitely come back, almost forgot an epic trip to Wensleydale to the cheese makers. 「Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... 「Beautiful n great village..plenty of room, beds, bathrooms..shower door in downstairs bathroom was broke, also vent on outside was broke and birds we're building a nest. Handle on frig could be bigger. The large table was great for our family, Needed a little TLC in dusting n cobwebs. Great parking.. overall good, would stay again. Sheets could be cleaner n fresher smelling, sorry for all the complaints,but if it was mine I would want to know.」

「We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return!」

「I cannot fault this property at all! We stayed here around 5 years ago and couldn’t wait to return (unfortunately COVID prevented it being sooner)! The property is lovely, clean and cosy. Great location and only around 30 seconds walk from the village. Parking is a bonus. Highly recommended.」

「We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Ideal for our family get-together. The beds are really comfortable, lots of spaces to hang out in the house, the area is magic- roll out of the front door and you are by the river or can go on glorious riverside walks from the front door. The Aga was lovely and warm and the property was well equipped, we had everything we needed. For us the photos didn't do it justice, The Old Post Office was comfortable, characterful and very spacious.」

「We celebrated our Golden Wedding at the Coniston Hotel, along with 12 friends. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the location was superb with views over the lake from all our rooms. All our friends thought the hotel was a perfect venue for our weekend celebration.
