We spent several days in a "rustic" bunkhouse prior to check-in, and our stay here was a refreshing change while keeping stay financially manageable and simple. “This is the cutest little beach cabin I have ever seen. It has had a bit of renovation, keeping the beach cabin vibe. The view is terrific, but you may need sunglasses while making breakfast. (There is a window shade...) There are huge opening windows in the front of the cabin, giving it an open-air feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the Murphy bed was very comfortable. The kayaks are in good condition and so are the life jackets. We are going to make our way back here again. My……

“The house is nice, has everything you need more or less. Would have enjoyed the hot tub more if it was maintained better (weird smell, maybe not enough chlorine or something). Did not particularly love the security cameras directly pointing at it, felt a little weird. The upstairs shower is super clogged and we couldnt really use it. I'd probably choose a different place if I was to go again (it was picked mostly for the hot tub) but it was a good location to spend time at the canal and lake. It……

It’s a gorgeous area and in January very quiet and peaceful. The house has a cozy room with a fireplace for family games and a big room upstairs for movies and games. We loved the retro vibe! We’d love to come back with other family members for a group stay!”

“We went to Shelton to visit family and found peace, quiet and a beautiful cabin. If you like to hike and are adventurous the owners will guide you to amazing trails. The outside of our cabin was the best. A swing, hammocks, and fire pit. We highly recommend this place. We’ll be back next year .”

“It was a short stay, but it was easy check-in and check-out. The hosts were kind and supportive. The RV was spacious (including the bathroom), easy to get around in and had everything I could need. Though I did not have time to enjoy the porch or fire pit, it was right there, and the view is amazing. This place is a no brainer.”
