Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Nina and George were great hosts and very accommodating.The house is extremely well furnished and equipped with almost everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Two spacious bedrooms, great bathroom and a living area with TV and wifi. The kitchen has a large fridge, a modern hob and oven, toaster, kettle, plates and all sorts of utensils. It was also spotless. Outside there is a large terrace with a table, chairs and swing chair. It has a great view over the port and beach allowing you to see the sunset over nearby Skiathos. The location is very close to Loutraki port, less than a five minute walk. If, like us, you have never been to Skopelos before, you may not realise that the ferry for “Glossa” actually arrives in Loutraki. Glossa is situated on a steep hill above the port. A short walk from the house is a supermarket which, although small, sells almost anything! Opposite the supermarket you will find a bakery and a great restaurant that does takeaway Gyros. Also close to the house you will find a number of snack bars and a great fish restaurant. The bus stop is a short walk from the house and the bus will take you to Skopelos Town. It takes an hour and goes past all of the main beaches. However, the service, although it runs to schedule, is very infrequent, only four times a day.
When we arrived, it was at the start of one of the worst ever storms in Greece, which lasted for four days but the house provided us with a safe haven
