“This is a very nicely maintained independent unit from the hosts’ main residence. It is very clean, spacious, and located conveniently to the main road. The hosts are very friendly and thoughtful — there are a few useful amenities in the unit. We really enjoyed our two days at the property. Very refreshing. “Linda is very accommodating and is one of the best hosts I met in Alaska. We had a situation and she quickly accommodated us. The cabin is very cozy and her breakfasts are like the ones served in hotels. The driveway to the cabin is a bit rough so just drive slow. I wish we have more time to spend and chat with her. If we ever go back to Talkeena, we will for sure stay at her place again!! ”

“The cabin was exactly as seen in the pictures, a small little cabin with everything you need for a night away. I wasn't expecting the other cabins and the owners house to be so close, I was hoping for a little more space but otherwise everything was as expected. We enjoyed the cabin very much.”
