「The park, the trails, and the sights are beautiful and well worth a visit. The lodge and facilities are not. The lack of state funding for the property shows, which is unfortunate and sad.
The good: The sheets, towels, and bed were clean and comfortable. At least there’s that.
The common areas were trapped in the ‘60s, which could have been charming if not for the litter and bird droppings and dead bugs.

「This cabin was your basic cabin. I think that the expectation when staying here is that you are back to nature and probably out exploring it instead of hanging around the cabin. There is nothing fancy in this cabin but it definitely met our needs. There were several televisions with DISH service but we did not even turn them on.I must remind myself going forward to check for the things that are NOT listed because they are just as important as the things that ARE listed. 「There were some cobwebs in the bedrooms, otherwise the house was clean. The location of the property was very handy and the house is comfortable. We spent 5 days at this property and it was perfect for a large group. The only thing negative I will say is that the firepit was 10 rocks in a circle on the side of the road in front of the house. Not really usable. We had a great trip as always, and appreciate the hospitality.」
