The whole hotel (apart from the reception) stank of damp, had to move rooms 3 times, the first room stank of sewage. Showers don’t work properly (inconsistent pressure and temperature). One lift was broken. Fire alarms going off numerous times, waking us up twice. Unfortunately, we were left with no option but to check out half way through the holiday and change hotels. Credit to the hotel for refunding us the nights we didn’t stay there though.

We had a great week half board in the wonderful AX Victoria hotel. Both breakfast and dinner buffets were 5* with great quality and variety of food available. The staff were so friendly and facilities excellent including the gym, two swimming pools and sauna. We loved the bar, cocktails at happy hour were reasonably priced and of great quality. We loved the hotel's traditional style & will definitely be back :)
