“This was our second time at Gate house. It was a shorter trip and we were reluctant to leave. I appreciated the pool and was in it every afternoon. We also love the beach to the South of the house and all the friendly people around to help. It was great seeing Harrison again and of course we really enjoyed seeing Captain Reynold and our fishing trips with him. Cat Island is truly beautiful and we can’t wait to come back!”

“Just finished a 9 night stay at this property. We had a wonderful time relaxing and unwinding. We snorkeled the reefs walked the beach and collected sea glass. Cooked a lot of our meals at the house and had everything we needed to do so. Mr. King was very attentive and knowledgeable and an extremely great cook. We had him cook us conch fritters twice (yes they are that good) and ordered dinner from him one night, it was delicious and was enough food for 2 meals. If you are looking for relaxation……

“What a wonderful place to spend the week between Christmas and New Years! Once we figured out the flight connections, everything was a breeze. Leslie is a perfect host… helpful but not intrusive. A 30 minute drive from the airport led to seclusion on a beautiful stretch of beach in a well-maintained and stocked house. I am reluctant to recommend only because it might mean that I am unable to book it in the future.”

“We had a wonderful stay in fantastic Cat Island. Cats Cove is a beautiful and very well set out villa. The owner puts mucht tought into detail and a very welcoming atmosphere. The manager Debbi is very helpful and a fantastic cook. Definitely would love to come back to this beautiful place.”

“Villa située sur une plage absolument magnifique et presque déserte. L’inconvénient est que l’épicerie est à 45 minutes en voiture et qu’elle ne contient que les produits de base. Pas de fromages fins, de charcuterie etc..et toutes les viandes et poissons sont congelés.”

“It was simply amazing. A rustic, no-key turn key suite which was more than comfortable and clean. If you do not like dogs, this may not be the resort for you as the owners keep them. Beautiful beach. The only drawback was the toilet area which was too small for my husband so I would not suggest it for anyone over 200 lbs. Apart from that it was quite comfortable with a rustic feel surrounded by natural vegetation away from the road.”
