"Sounds Right" - Soundfront Home - Dock - Fenced Yard - Community Pool

"Sounds Right" is comfortable and spacious with breath taking sunsets over the ICWW. You will love relaxing on the partially covered back deck while you watch the boats leisurely cruise by. Perfectly situated in the quiet family friendly community of the Village of Stump Sound which features a beach access, community pool, tennis courts and small craft launch. Community pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day!

Upon entering you will be greeted by a magnificent wall of floor to ceiling windows just beyond the front foyer in the main living area. The family room (with queen sleeper sofa), kitchen and dining area are open to each other and offer the ultimate space for togetherness. You will not mind cooking in this upgraded kitchen with breakfast bar, stainless appliances, new granite counter tops and anything you will need to cook the perfect family meal during your stay. Off of the main living area is the Master bedroom which features a king size bed, ensuite bathroom and access to the sound front deck. You will not want to miss grabbing a book and glass of wine to nestle on the twin bed swing that is located in the sunroom just behind the kitchen or grab a pillow for a unique slumber experience. Full size washer and dryer are conveniently located in the laundry room that is nestled just beyond the kitchen.

On the top floor you will find three bedrooms. One on each side of another master bedroom with a king bed, full bath and seating area with a generous deck overlooking the sound offering views to the waterway and mainland. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has a double bed with a trundle for additional sleeping space.

The outside is designed for relaxation. The main level deck extends the entire length of the home and is partially covered by the top deck. The lower area leads to the private outside shower. Take a short stroll past the fire pit to the private dock, the dock allows you to bring your boat and leave it right at your back door.There are also two kayaks and a paddleboard for your use during your stay! After a long day of fun, grab the marshmallows and head to the fire pit for a toasty treat.

Pay-to-Park may be enforced at some beach accesses or public parking lots. 

PRIVATE BOAT DOCK: 19 foot flat bottom boat may work, however if the boat has a v-hull then it would not work at low tide. 

Community Dock & Ramp: Dock open from sunrise to sunset. Use at your own risk. Children under 12 years of age must accompanied by an adult (21 years or older). Ramp is for launching small watercraft only (i.e. Canoes & Kayaks). Trailers are subject to getting stuck. No parking vehicles or trailers on the streer or they may be towed. No running or horseplay allowed. Please be considerate of neighbors and guests.

BOOKING DETAILS - 
Age Requirements: You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. ID verification required prior to check in. House parties will be evicted immediately. Any group renting this property under false pretenses shall be immediately evicted with no refund.

Summer Requirements: 7-night minimum stays, Saturday Check-in/out only

TV Disclosure: Smart TVs require guests to log in with their own accounts to access subscription apps. Access credentials are not provided.

CANCELLATIONS -
Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. Please review our Rental Policies and Cancellation Policy.

CHECK IN DAY DETAILS -
Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION -
All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.

You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description.  Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

TOPSAIL ISLAND GENERAL INFO-
WiFi: WiFi signal strength is NOT guaranteed at your rental for remote work or remote learning. We are located on a barrier island and do not have cellular towers on the island. This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT given.   

Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.

Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.

Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.

Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.
