Positive aspectsThe house is beautiful and very practical for a large family.The location is excellent.Communication with the host was prompt and efficient.Aspects that need improvementOverall, the cleanliness did not meet expectations. The carpet on the stairs appeared very dirty, and there was a noticeable musty smell upon entering.Renting a property of this type is not inexpensive, and the price includes a cleaning fee, which should cover thorough preparation and cleaning of the home. However, guests are asked to make the beds themselves upon arrival and strip them before departure. Additionally, we were asked to put all dishes away, whereas in other rentals it is common practice to simply leave them running in the dishwasher.We also found trash bags full of flies at the entrance, presumably left by previous guests.When I pay for a vacation rental, I expect to relax and not have to perform tasks that should be included in the cleaning service — especially given the additional cleaning fee.Would I return? Unfortunately, no.
