“We got there late but the key was waiting for us with a map to the cabin. There was a huge snow storm that night and the power went out but it was restored by morning. The staff was really helpful and communicated very well! It made all the things that happened seemed like it was just part of the adventure. We loved it, just wish we could have stayed another night! Definitely recommend! ”

You can feel the history. You are in someones backyard which is kind of off putting but overall an excellent choice for travelers.”

VRBO distance calculator said 25 minutes to Crested Butte… maybe by helicopter. Road from cabin to Crested Butte is closed in winter, and in summer, owner said that it’s still about an hour and thirty……
