Three floors above the heated pool at Allegheny Springs, a private balcony looks down on the courtyard and out toward the slopes. A king bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa sleep four, with one full bath. The full kitchen has island bar seating and a dining table for four, and a gas fireplace warms the living room. Ski-in/ski-out between the Ballhooter and Grabhammer lifts.



The kitchen island is where this condo comes together: breakfast at the bar before first chair, a board of cheese and a bottle of wine after the last run. It suits couples and families of four who like to cook and want the Village outside the lobby door.



THE LAYOUT

- Bedroom: king bed with closet and hangers, and room-darkening shades.

- Living room: queen sleeper sofa, gas fireplace and smart TV with cable.

- Kitchen: full kitchen with island bar seating, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, drip coffee maker and toaster, plus pots, pans, dishes, utensils and wine glasses.

- Dining: a table for four, in addition to the stools at the island.

- Bathroom: one full bath with a tub and shower combination, hair dryer included.

- Balcony: private, on the third floor, over the heated outdoor pool.

- Work: a desk and chair for laptop days.

- Comfort: central heat, air conditioning, ceiling fans and Wi-Fi.

- Also here: iron and board, extra pillows and blankets.

SUPPLIED FOR YOUR STAY

- Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods and trash bags

- Coffee to start, plus salt, pepper and cooking oil



SKI-IN/SKI-OUT AND LIFTS

- The condo sits between the Ballhooter high-speed quad, about 200 yards from the building, and the Grabhammer lift above the Village.

- A free ski locker on the ground floor of Allegheny Springs, opened with your amenity keycard. Skis, snowboards, boots and bikes are stored there rather than in the condo.

- At the end of the day, ski back toward the Village and walk your gear into the locker room before heading upstairs.

- Lift tickets, rentals and lessons are not included. The Depot in the Village sells lift tickets, and tickets bought online in advance are usually discounted.



THE BUILDING

Allegheny Springs is a full-service condominium building in Village Central.

- Heated outdoor pool (seasonal) and outdoor hot tubs

- Dry sauna and fitness center

- Outdoor gas fire pit behind the lobby

- Lobby with a stone fireplace, front desk, elevator and key-card entry

- Free ski lockers on the ground floor

- Coin-operated laundry in the building

- Blue Ridge Grille inside the building (hours vary)

These shared facilities are operated by Snowshoe Mountain Resort and the building association, and their hours are seasonal.



ARRIVAL, PARKING AND CHECK-IN

- Check-in is 5 PM. Checkout is 11 AM.

- Collect your amenity keycard with a photo ID at the Allegheny Springs front desk in the lobby (in season, until about 11 PM) or at The Inn at Snowshoe at the base of the mountain, which is open 24 hours. The keycard opens the building, the pool, hot tubs, sauna, fitness center and ski lockers.

- The condo has a keypad lock. Your door code arrives by email the day before arrival.

- Unload through the underground tunnel by the shuttle terminal, then park free in the general Village lot across the street, a 3 to 5 minute walk. The resort also offers optional valet parking at Allegheny Springs for a nightly fee.

- There is no cell service near the resort. Download your directions and offline maps before you leave home.

- Four-wheel drive is strongly recommended when it snows. The last miles up Snowshoe Drive climb steadily to the Village.



GOOD TO KNOW

- This is a one-bedroom condo with one bathroom. The queen sleeper sofa is best for kids or a second couple for a night or two.

- The third floor is reached by elevator from the lobby and the underground tunnel.

- The balcony faces the pool courtyard, which is lively on busy afternoons in season.

- Laundry is coin-operated in the building; there is no washer or dryer in the condo.

- On holiday weekends, arrive early for the best spots in the general Village lot.



THE VILLAGE AND THE MOUNTAIN

Allegheny Springs sits in Village Central, so everything below is a short walk from the lobby. Hours vary by season.

- Coffee and dining: Starbucks, Old Spruce Draft House, Junction Ale House, Foxfire Grille, Sunset Cantina, Cheat Mountain Pizza, Al Dente Ristorante, Waffle Cabin and Village Scoop.

- Provisions: Wildcat Grocery and Hops, Vines and Spirits, plus ski, bike and outdoor shops.

- Getting around: the free resort shuttle stops along Snowshoe Drive and runs to Silver Creek. Park once and leave the car.

- Winter: skiing and riding across Snowshoe and Silver Creek, night skiing, the tubing park, snowmobile tours, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

- Summer and fall: the Snowshoe Bike Park, Shavers Lake, scenic lift rides, hiking trails and The Raven Golf Club.

- Nearby: the Cass Scenic Railroad, a scenic drive from the mountain.



THE MOUNTAIN, SEASON BY SEASON

Winter 2026-27: Snowshoe plans to open November 25, 2026 and run to March 21, 2027, weather permitting, with about 60 trails, 257 acres and 1,500 feet of vertical. Silver Creek adds night skiing until 9 PM from mid-December to early March, and Snowshoe is on the Ikon Pass. Off the slopes: the Coca-Cola Tubing Park, guided snowmobile tours, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Dates to know: Village Tree Lighting (Nov 28), Winter Brewfest (Dec 12), Christmas in the Village (Dec 24), New Year's Eve, Pride Weekend (Jan 8-10), Kids Ski Free Week (Mar 8-14) and the Spring Fling pond skim (Mar 20).

Summer: the Snowshoe Bike Park runs more than 40 trails over 1,500 feet of descent, the Raven Golf Club is an 18-hole Gary Player design, and the Ballhooter lift carries you up to Shavers Lake for paddleboards and canoes. The 4848 Festival brings live music to the mountain.

Snowshoe is a seasonal mountain resort. Many of its shops, restaurants, activities, lifts and shuttles operate only part of the year. Building amenities such as pools, hot tubs, saunas, fitness rooms, ski lockers and front-desk check-in locations are run by Snowshoe Mountain Resort and the building associations, not by LuxStayUSA, and may be closed for the season, for weather or for maintenance during your stay. We don't control their schedules, so please confirm current hours and availability directly with Snowshoe Mountain Resort before you book. Closures of these third-party facilities don't change your reservation terms.
