不满意：清洁度
When we arrived at the house, there had been a snow storm the week before and the driveway and walkway to the door were not cleared at all. The owner advised that someone would be there the next day to try to clear the driveway. They never came or contacted us. There were other properties that had their driveways cleared but they made excuses to why theirs wasn’t. We had to shovel the steps up to the house ourselves just to make it safe to get to the house. They said there was salt to spread, there was none. The thermostats were set to 40 degrees when we arrived. The house was not what I would consider clean. When we opened the linen closet there was dirty crusty used cloths in the door. It smelled moldy and mildew. They advertised like there was a game room but when we arrived the owner sent a message saying that the room/garage where the games were located, wasn’t finished and the only heat was a tiny space heater. It was below freezing out there and we couldn’t even use the space. The only lighting in the “master” was one dull lightbulb on the wall. It was so dark in there. There was also a terrible sulfur smell coming from the bathroom. The owner advised that it may go away after we used the shower. The house and hospitality was very disappointing to say the least. We would not recommend this VRBO to anyone. It didn’t seem like anyone made preparations for our arrival and it was far from a welcoming experience.
