We thought the food was great! Property was great! Staff was great! Everything around the area was so much fun. The bathroom situation was strange-glass doors and curtains. You could easily run into the doors at night and not much privacy.

Attention to every detail, very helpful staff, and right next to the Roman ruins of Salona - literally turn right into the hotel parking lot, left into the ruins parking lot

We had a great stay at the Hotel Salona Palace! It is truly next door to the incredible ruins, and we spent a great morning wandering the ruins from the hotel. The rooms were very well appointed and the view was gorgeous.

Very comfortable stay. The hotel is away from the city centre but a bus from outside the hotel goes every half hour into the old town

Really nice hotel, spacious, modern and clean. Only issue was the air conditioning was set at 25deg c for the whole hotel and we couldn’t lower it in our room. We had to leave the balcony door open at night and had a desktop fan to keep cool.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is nice and modern, has easy access to public transit, and a good breakfast buffet. Our room had a couple minor issues like a water stain on the ceiling of the bathroom, excess water leaking around the door of the shower when we showered, and our toilet seemed to run for awhile after flushing .As well, the sound proofing was average as we could hear a decent amount of outside noise, but overall no major issues and we weren't there long enough to feel the need to complain about these things. We like that the room had double sinks and a rainfall shower, and the bed was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was in a quieter area of Split and easy to find. So overall we'd recommend this hotel, just some minor things that could be improved.

Good pool and spacious rooms. Good choice for breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Room cleanliness could have been better, the balcony still had pastry crumbs on the floor from previous guests.

Beautiful property! The staff were very helpful. They did our laundry and it had too much fragrance to it, but our clothes were clean. The food options were also good. Lots of good breakfast options. 10 minute walk to the Roman ruins.

Absolutely beautiful property! So peaceful and rooms were spacious and clean. Has amazing facilities including two pools, two spas, stream room and sauna. Bonus having massages available up until 9pm. So easy and cheap to get an Uber into split and it’s nice being able to explore Solin as well

Food was goodnat hotel. Breakfast options were great. What was a let down was the rooms. My fridge door was broken curtains broken ac didnt work they didnt have proper Ac. Flies in the room when i came in and mosquitos got bitten loads which would have been avoided if ac was there. Overall the room felt like a 3 star hence the rating. Also wifii did not work hardly ever used all my mobile data. Didnt feelnlike it was a 4star and i have always stayed in 4 or 5.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay, the hotel is about 18 minutes drive from Split. Outside the hotel there is a supermarket, bakery, atm and bus stop which is convenient. The site is next to Salona Roman Ruins which you pay to enter and is a great historical walk to spend an hour or two. Also there is a shopping mall, we took an Uber to The Mall of Split about 5 euros one way, good for all shopping and has a food court as well as restaurants as we found the hotel restaurant pleasant but a little limited, and expensive for what was served. The pool and jacuzzi was quiet and we pretty much had it to ourselves. Other spa services available but we did not use these facilities. Towels provided and plenty of loungers so a highlight for us. The cicadas and insects are loud, so be warned if you are outside you will hear them. And faintly inside the hotel too. The hotel is clean throughout and breakfast adequate with continental and cooked options buffet style available. This hotel will suit couples and small families, it is a little remote but less busy than Split with good access to old town and SPU airport. The staff are friendly and we able to check-in early which was a nice touch. Thank you. The lobby is relaxing and beautifully presented with a lobby bar, modern and to be honest much better in person than in the photos online.
