「We felt so held in this gorgeous home that felt very cozy and comfy considering it was also a gallery of stunning Guatemalan art with breathtaking garden and grounds. We woke to a choir of birds and were given privacy to do deep spiritual work and could pray by the Lake each sunrise on a small beach. Hosts were accommodating and responsive and local staff was lovely!!! would love to come back some day ❤️🙏🔥」

「Good points: -The house seems to be a relatively new construction . -The second floor room has a decent view to watch the sunrise. But the house is not in the lake. -The kitchen was well equipped. Regular points : -Lots of Construction around that starts at 6:45AM - From the main road to the house is dirt and rocks so You have to carry your suitcases. -Far from the embarcadero or main are in town, a good 30 minutes walk or 10 minute Tuck Tuck that cost Q10/ $2 US quetzales per person...

「Beautiful lodging but Getting to the property is difficult. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Pack light. Hotel next door only serves its own guests so you have to walk in the dark for food at night if you have nothing to cook. We were not prepared for this. If you prepare the stay will be nice. The flashlight in the house did not work so we used our phone flashlight. There are little stores at the dock that sells food to cook in small quantities like single eggs. Food at restaurants are...

「The property is excellent. The host Laura and the manager Levin went above and beyond to help us. We really appreciate their flexibility and help in our late arrival and check out as well. The only thing I would say is that the hike up to the house from the church is a challenge. They have clearly stated that but what I was not ready for was the unclean and unhygienic conditions of the path to the house - there is sewage and trash everywhere - if you can ignore that it was all great.」
